2007/2008? Hobie Revolution 13' Mirage Drive Peddle Blue Kayak

I have listed this elsewhere for a local sale, so this listing might be removed at any time. Everything is in good shape, with standard cosmetic wear--used but not abused. Kayak comes with the original Hobie paddle and mirage drive (peddle) system. Retailed for $3000+ when new (likely a 2007/2008 model).Stored in the garage for winter, but space issues now necessitate a sale. Comes with brand new rubber storage pockets, tool key (for undoing some internal parts), and brand new strap replacements for the peddles.

Full set of scupper plugs included. Hatch seals, bungee cabling, all are in good condition. Comes with the wedge for sealing up the mirage drive hole when paddling without the mirage drive. Ports for fishing rigs and a sailing mast. Straps for holding two paddles in place.

Features a standard-sized rudder with directional controls and the ability to raise/lower.There's only minor cosmetic wear on the hull with no deep scratches or deformities. One of the straps broke on the original seat, so I substituted a used replacement (the original seat is included--not pictured--which can be repaired for ~$20 at any good upholstry or marine shop). The rudder can stick a bit when lowering from the resting position--easily fixed by adjusting the cabling (or replacing with some new string/line), but I never bothered as it still works fine.The mirage drive system is in excellent shape, and was washed after each use and lubricated frequently. Fresh water use only. I've checked the assembly chains and idler cables, and there's no signs of stretching/fraying/rusting--it should continue to work for many years without needing anything replaced, especially if you use it at a reasonable pace (3-4mph).

This model features solid steel shafts, which is especially good for those with longer/stronger legs (Hobie in later years switched to hollow shafts, leading a number of taller folks to complain of breakages). The original rubber straps broke last year, and new replacements have been included.I no longer deliver, after having my time/effort wasted in the past (sorry).
