Vintage Folbot Kayak Boat Seat Parts NOS Dimensions (Approximate): Seat (2 Pieces): (2) Length: 19.25 inches Width: 10.75 inches Base Width: 2.5 inches These two seat parts were attached together with screws. The base piece is ½ inch plywood. All other pieces are all ¼ inch plywood. Long Narrow Pieces: (2) Length: 19.25 inches Width: 2.25 inches Seat: (1) Length: 22 1/8 inches Width: 9 3/8 inches Seat: (1) Length: 18 1/8 inches Width: 14.75 inches Seat: (1) Length: 20.5 inches Width: 15.25 inches I found these kayak seat parts at an estate sale in Dallas. The person that had it purchased an old Folbot kayak kit many years ago.

He started working on the kayak but never finished the project. He sold the wooden frame to a restaurant to hang from the ceiling as a decoration. I bought the rest of the accessories. They are all original and have never been used. I am assuming that they are all vintage (NOS) Folbot parts.

There was an old Folbot instruction manual (1972) with the seat cushion. It was titled Folbot Super TBF. The seat parts were never attached to the frame. It looks like he quit working on the project many years ago and stored all the parts in his workshop. I have attempted to describe the item to the best of my ability.

If I have misidentified this item please let me know. The owner is no longer around so I was not able to ask him about the items. He had a nice workshop and seemed to have a strong interest in vintage kayaks. Please review photos for details. I will list other items soon.
