Vintage 14' Folbot Kayak Folding Collapsible Kayak Leather Body Kayak Cover

This is a 14 foot leather cover for a collapsable vintage Folbot brand kayak. These kayaks were built in the 60's and 70's possibly even the 50's . An all wood or wood and aluminum frame work would be assembled inside the leather shell to make a sturdy very portable kayak. First and last pictures show the inside with a partial frame inserted.This leather cover is for a 14 foot model. It is in good condition with only a few minor scuff marks on the outside surface that could cause a small pin hole.

I could not find any tears or cuts. It will need to be checked over before use but it seams to be very seaworthy. There are 2 pieces of tape on the bottom but as you can see in picture 6 which shows the inside of where the tape is located there is no damage visible from the inside. The leather is stiff but pliable as I believe it's supposed to be and is not dry or rotted anywhere. There are one or two of the FOLBOT letters missing on the front of the skin Please see the pictures for condition and ask any questions before bidding.
