Folbot Vintage Tandem Kayak & 1 Paddle

Folboat 17 foot vintage tandem kayak. Fabric over a wooden frame. Condition is Used. Probably a 1970's edition, based on color and accessories. I got this at an estate sale, and used it some a number of years ago.

It has been hung in the barn between uses. It requires 2 people to lift and lower this. Not very light. + a couple of sitting cushions In the late '60's .some friends from Dartmouth paddled the length of the Danube in Folboats, and people have used them on arctic expeditions. Too many boats!

I still paddle whitewater at 74, and also paddle a somewhat smaller sea kayak on local lakes. This needs a new home! I just don't get it out much. The fabric has a few patches, and a little duct tape. The skin is hypalon, and you can get fabric in the same grey color, plus the appropriate glue from Northwest River Supply.

The fabric is still resilient, the boat has been stored indoors. You can also repaint hypalon with Gaco and restore it. However, you don't drag a fabric boat across the rocks! I have never folded this boat. Therefore, you need to pick it up in Victor, SE Idaho.
