Folbot Super 17 Collapsible (Missing Sail) (1960's Era?) / Parts Or Bundle

Folbot Super 17' two person collapsible sailing kayak (missing sail) (1960's era?) // willing to sell complete or part outA piece of small water craft history. All original vinyl. Currently I would say its in wall hanger condition. It is missing its sail but all other pieces are intact. The stern section seems to be in the worst shape(last photo) but plenty there to use it as a template if you want to make a new piece.

The paddles are in great shape and could be used with any kayak. Folbot was founded in 1933 in London, England and quickly gained a reputation for building sturdy and stable kayaks. Recognizing that North America offered a large, untapped market, the company relocated to New York City in 1935. It remained here until 1953, ultimately landing in Charleston, South Carolina. This particular kayak was made in Charleston SC, and I believe it is 1960's era.

Folbot folding kayak. 2 person, 17 ½ feet long. About 700 lbs capacity. Weights about 90 lbs. Breaks down into two bags.
