Folbot Aleut Folding Kayak 12’ (14’ W/ Aluminum Rudder)

Folbot Aleut Folding Kayak 12’ (14’ w/ Aluminum Rudder). Great little boat, purchased second hand and put many flat water miles on it. Sale of complete boat includes skin, frame, kayak paddle, bow and stern float bags, seat, rudder assembly, wilderness repair kit (yellow bag), and assembly instructions. Float bags are stained green from the fabric dye. I believe it to have been produced in the early 2000’s but I’m not sure.

This boat is not new, nor is it blemish free. The skin has some staining on the bottom along with some superficial scratches. The foot controls for the rudder have multiple cracks and a few corners missing. One of the deck stabilizers is broken where it hinges from the frame but can easily be wedged into place once the frame is assembled. I have tried to include any and all defects in the pictures.

The boat has not incurred any damage since I have owned it, it was purchased with all of these defects and still performs well. Very responsive with and without the rudder. To my knowledge, the only thing missing from this boat is the sprayskirt. This is a used boat, it looks like a used boat, it smelled like a used boat. It is dirty, as are the storage / carrying bags.

Simple assembly but it goes smoother with 2 people. Please ask any questions that you may have and thoroughly inspect pictures. This item is sold As-Is, without warranty, no returns.
