Kayak Dagger Drifter 10.1, Single Person Sit-In 3.1m Perfect For River And Lake

Kayak: Dagger Drifter 10.1 Excellent condition – body and all fixtures in perfect working order. A few minor scrapes on the hull, as expected from paddling in the Yarra River, however has never needed hull repairs and is completely watertight. Has always been stored under cover and protectedfrom the weather. I own two of these craft, and plan to sell one as no one else is using it. I have included images of the green one, but am happy to sell the blue one instead if that colour suits.

Both craft are in the same excellent condition. A very stable craft – great for beginners and family. My daughter learned how to paddle in it when she was ten with no problems. Suitable for lakes and rivers. I find the Drifter perfect for the Yarra River, where the rapids are Grade 1 and 2.

Turned up bow cuts through the waves with ease, even in the ocean,and smooth central hull allows great manoeuvrability in rapids. Its 3.1m long profileallows superior tracking and speed along calm stretches. Large cockpit allows for easy access and exit, and enough room to stow a dry-bag and water bottle as well. The cockpit features "Zone fit-out" which gives super comfortable seating and adjustable backrest – great for longer daytrips on the water. Only 16kg so easy to carry with one arm, and can be lifted onto your car roof by one person.

Super strong roto-moulded polyethylene hull handles bumps and scrapes on the rocks nicely without costly repairs. The large rear water-proof hatch provides excellent waterproof storagecapacity, with enough room for a 6-pack esky or large dry bag. Easy to take offthe cover and put back on.
