Dagger Gt 7.8 (Medium) Whitewater Kayak

Hi, This listing is being sold on behalf of Bath Uni Canoe Club.For sale we have a Dagger GT 7.8 (medium). This boat has been well used and needs some work before it can safely be used on whitewater, but would be ready for use on flatwater straight away.The GT is a great all-round beginner/intermediate whitewater kayak. It is a profficient river runner, and its low-volume bow and stern allow you to easily surf every wave and hole you find! The good:The hull of this boat is in excellent condition with the usual scratches and a tiny bit of oil canning. This boat has no dents or splits and has never been welded.The outfitting is in reasonable condition, with the seat, thigh braces, and backrest all in good working order.

The bad- to be used on whitewater the following need sorting. I would guess this will cost less than £100 in parts:The boat is missing its full-plate footrestThe boat is missing the front central foam pillarThe front and rear handles have some significant corrosion and are sharp to the touch (hence the tape). These are still in one piece so can be used just fine for carrying the boat, but would probably not survive pulling this boat out of a pin on whitewater.
