The Dagger Dynamo is designed specifically for young people. As every good geek knows Red ones go faster. The displacement hull, with soft edges inspires the development of core fundamental paddling skills and boat handling. The primary stability is good so it is suitable for beginners taking their first steps into kayaking. It also offers scope for progress and developing higher level padding skills.
Designed to be both attractive and performance oriented, the Dynamo features a semi-planing hull, for forward paddling ease and tapered sidewalls with soft bevelled edges, to support the development of edge control skills. A tapered deck allows a wide range of paddling strokes, without having to lift the paddle too high, however the kayak is also ideal for developing high angle paddle strokes as paddler confidence develops. It is a great kayak for teaching rolling and rescue skills too. At only 2.2m the Dynamo is very short & light making it easy and fun for children to paddle & and move to and from the water. Specification: With a smaller blade, the N90 makes an idea paddle for the junior paddler. The shaft has a smaller diameter which is ovalled on the control side. The N90 uses a tough nylon-glassfibre composite construction for superb durability and performance to give a strong, ‘all round’ junior paddle. Launched in 2006, the material yields 260 Mpa tensile strength – that’s over double the strength of the nylon 12 used in many other nylon paddles. Ainsworth’s Nylon blade is much stiffer than any other nylon paddles.
The shaft is pressed into the blades with hydraulic pressure to a depth of 10cm, ensuring a watertight joint and a continuous feel from shaft to blade tip. The high strength of the material means that the blade can be made lighter for little arms. Yak red Buoyancy aid, Kallista 50N with leg loops Palm red spray deck wiry draw string waist.
