Dagger Centrifuge White Water Kayak

Dagger Centrifuge White Water Kayak Playboat. Condition is Used. Collection in person only. Sound, but well used. Loads of scratches, usual dent under the seat.

Been stored out of sun & rain for last few years. May contain spiders. Fittings still firm and resilient when I sat in it just now. However, I do recall the backrest ratchet would occasionally slip under stress. The outfitting is all glued in or jammed in foam so not adjustable as such, but light, rustproof and easy to modify or replace.

No spraydeck included, but it's a very standard size. Airbags present but not guaranteed. I'm 5'10", 32in inseam, size 11 UK feet and fit snugly, comfortably. I'm 75Kg - that's a good weight for it. Much lighter and it would get hard to sink the ends (if you want to).

Much heavier and ... well, it would be very sinky, fun if that's what you want, frustrating or even frightening if you're unused to it. Although not on the market long, the Centrifuge marked the second revolution in white water playboat design. After the Dagger Vertigo told us the bottom of a playboat should be flat, the Centrifuge threw away the traditional buoyant bow. The nose will go down, and in, and slice - it was designed to cartwheel (not that I was ever that good in it). But, unlike modern playboats, it's still quite long.

No cruiser, but better at keeping up with more general purpose kayaks than a 2m boat. The speed also helps if you take it surfing. Please note seller will be offline for some days after 24th Sept, that's a few days after auction ends.
