Dagger Blackwater 10.5 Hybrid Kayak With Paddle

This is a multi purpose hybrid wrap around canoe suited for a more experienced canoeist rather than a sit on top paddler, or would suit someone who wants to have lessons in Eskimo roll and capsize drill. It features a large cockpit for easy access/egress, a retractable keg, carrying toggles front and back, space for a rear hatch to be cut out. There are bungee cords on the front deck for storing extra kit. I will include the Yak nylon spray deck and a 7ft double blade fixed paddle. At 10.5 ft it is more stable than a 17ft sea cruiser but not as fast, yet much faster than a sit on top kayak.

My husband has paddled along the coast from Christchurch public slipway to Alum Chine and back as well as surfed low level whitewater and along the river Mude. Since discovering diving he is only interested in being under the water not on top.
