Dagger Axis 10.5 Crossover Kayak Red Multi With Drop Skeg

Red/yellow multi color Dagger Axis 10.5 crossover kayak in very good used condtion (it has usual bumps and scrapes for a few years old kayak that has been on whitewater). This is a crossover kayak in that it has a retractable skeg (fin at the bottom/back end) that you keep retracted when in whitewater, for more maneuverability and that you can drop down or deploy on flat water to help you track in a straight line. So it is equally suited for whitewater and flatwater. It has the deluxe padded rigging (seats) for great comfort on long kayaks. This is a very important feature if you plan to be in the kayak for long periods.

Novice kayakers usually do not fully consider how important this is to your rear end, but it makes a world of difference in the "usability" and comfort of the kayak. This kayak has the adjustable footpegs for additional leg comfort and whitewater maneuverability ( cornering leverage). It has has a nice waterproof compartment with hatch as well as handy cargo netting and cup/drink holder. In addition there are fore and aft handles for easy carrying. I have had this kayak in up to class three rapids and it handles wonderfully.

The cockpit rim is shaped to accommodate an apron as well. All around you won't find a more versatile and comfortable kayak, whether a beginner or novice. And Dagger quality is legendary.
